Design for integrity.
I take on design work for people making things for social good and/or from the heart. I most enjoy working on projects that help us connect more deeply with the environment, our communities, our histories, and ourselves.
My process begins with strategy: decisions about what a project should do and feel like. Always, I listen for rhythm and pay attention to details, so that every part of a project works towards the core goals.
Recent projects include:
brand design for Turtle & Bloom, an IP-first media company;
creative and editorial direction for Restful, an anthology of writing and photography;
website for a network of archivists and librarians offering research services to film and audio documentarians;
design research, writing, and publication design of a guide to printing art books in Lagos, commissioned by the Goethe-Institut Nigeria.
